
The Letter A and The ARK of Noah
OBJECTIVES: After the lesson, the kids are expected to:
- recognize the letter A;
- trace or write the letter A;
- show good eye-hand coordination in the given activities;
- remember God’s love to obedient Noah.
Lesson Scripture: Genesis 7 tells the story of Noah obeying God when he entered the ark with his family and two of every (unclean) animal as well as seven of the clean animals.
Preparation: Display a big letter A and keep the cut-out small letters rand k to be used as the lesson progresses. Also show an image of Noah’s ark (without the animals and other characters in the story).

A is for the big ARK that’s made~of wood and bark (3 times). (like a cheering team) A! A! A! is for ARK!
Bible Story: Kids, the ark that God told Noah to make is made of wood. The wood came from the many trees that Noah and his sons had cut. The wood is called gopher. These trees are strong for the making of the ARK. Noah and his sons cut and cut and cut until much wood were gathered.
God saw that Noah was obedient. The ark was made for the safety of Noah and his family together with the animals on board.
