INTRODUCING YOUR NEW LESSON:
Kids, can you remember the man who was commanded by GOD to build a big boat – the ark?
Yes! It is Noah. Noah obeyed God although people laughed at him. What happened after that? A great flood came! God kept Noah and his family safely aboard the ark.
PRESENTATION OF THE BIBLE STORY:
One day – inside the ark, Noah looked down from the ark’s window. He saw that the water has went down already. Noah would like to know if it is safe to go out of the ark.
So, Noah got a black bird (raven) and let it fly away. But the raven went to and fro. Then Noah got a dove and let it fly away. After some time, it went back to the ark with Noah. Then for the second time, he let out the dove again. It flew far, far away. Noah waited for the dove. Later that night, a surprise for Noah! The dove came back and, in its beak, it carries a branch with fresh green leaves on it.
LIFE APPLICATION
God was pleased with Noah because he obeyed GOD. God used the dove to let Noah know that it is safe to go out of the ark. GOD rewarded Noah’s obedience by putting a promise in the sky. That promise thing is the colorful rainbow.
EVALUATION: Ask questions based on the objectives given.
- What name of a bird in our story begins with the letter D?
- What promise sign in the sky was shown to Noah by God? Or what promise sign in the sky did God show to Noah?

- Give activity pages for tracing dotted lines to complete letter Dd (do not give too much tracing activity so that the pupils will not get tired).
